Hi, everyone. My dad passed away in 1985. His name was William H. (Harrison) Webb, from Bowling Green, Ky. His papers say TEC-5. Does anyone out there remember him? He brought back pictures of Dachau when he came home, so I think he was there at the end of the war. I'm gathering together some of Dad's pictures in uniform along with one of his halbert arm patches, and a copy of his discharge papers to frame and display and someday hand down to my son. To my great surprise, I discovered my dad should have received 2 bronze stars, a good conduct medal, a victory medal, and an army of occupation medal after the war. He never got them. Did all of you men get your medals? Any info would be helpful. I'm going to pursue getting Dad's medals to put in with his other things to display. Dad never talked about the war. I love and miss him, and I wish I had told him how proud I was of him-for his honorable service to his country. But I'm only now realizing how much that means to me. But it's not too late to tell you who are still here. Thank you for putting your lives on the line for us. Thank you for your sacrifice. You guys are ALL brave and wonderful.
