Status: I am a family member of a 65th Division Veteran Relationship/Veteran (if family member): Son Comments: I am a pastor preparing a Bible message based upon the Galatians' theme of "Our Liberty in Christ." Whenever I think of liberty and an army of liberation, I think of the 65th Infantry. My beloved father, Johnny Keshansky, was a proud member of the 65th. He was wounded at Regensburg on April 29, 1945. He was released from the hospital in the summer of 46. He went on to live a life of honor before being called home to the Lord on March 27, 1998. I've entered his information in the National World War II Memorial website at http://www.wwiimemorial.com. If interested, you can see his info under Keshansky, Johnny, from WIsconsin. Here's a word of heartfelt gratitude and a special prayer of thanksgiving to all of the surviving members of the proud "65th." May God's richest blessing be upon you!
With complete respect,
