Status: Other Comments: Thank you a lot for this very infomative website. I live in Saarlouis, Germany, the city was former known as Saarlautern. After ten years of military service i work as an educator at Saarlouis now. I would like to start a history-project with some children here, telling them about the war in their hometown. For that reason I am looking for any material that could be usefull, reports, fotos. Maybe you can help us by sending me such material via e-mail? Whether it was enrolling veterans for VA disabilities, rides and visits to VA Hospital, or Honor Guard at burial. He never told many stories about his experiences except for getting drunk. He passed away in 1981, but I am trying to find out any information I can.
